Eye Filmmuseum

The Eye Film Museum has expanded their permanent installation with the interactive experience ‘Film Catcher’. In this impressive installation, visitors can pitch and catch films themselves! The most beautiful cinematic equipment in the Eye collection.

Different from the rest
Most search engines work with language, but the Eye Film Catcher works with image recognition and analysis. Using filters such as red, dance, city or close-up, you conjure up ever-changing collections of images. Be surprised by a growing number of fragments from the 54,000 films in Eye’s collection. Does a fragment catch your eye? Grab it with your tablet and discover more.

Ata Tech provided the complete AV installation and lighting in the Film Catcher area at the Eye Film Museum, including the impressive 360-degree projection with Epson projectors, a Dante audio system equipped with Akoustic Arts directional speakers and Ecler ceiling speakers controlled by a Pharos show control system.

Eye is internationally acclaimed for its knowledge of and expertise in the field of film restoration, research, and education. The new Eye Film Catcher experience will open your eyes to how beautiful and diverse film can be and is well worth a visit.
