Technium – NEMO Science Museum

Ata Tech has transformed the second floor of the NEMO Science Museum in Amsterdam into Technium, an interactive and technology-driven exhibition. Here, visitors playfully discover the invisible technologies that make our daily lives possible. From designing sustainable bicycles to programming robots in a creative ice cream parlour. Technium offers a wide range of hands-on activities.

Seamless images and clear sound
The exhibition offers a rich experience with advanced projections, touchscreens and intuitive interfaces. The dual projection with edgeblend provides a seamless and uniform image on a large screen, perfect for the energy balance game where visitors have to combine sustainable energy sources through an impressive wall projection. The 3 by 3 meter LED video wall in the workshop displays dynamic information and technical instructions.
The various headphones and single-cup listening horns provide an extra interactive dimension by offering additional explanations and stories during activities such as designing wind turbines and exploring energy sources, immersing visitors more deeply in the technology.

Lighting
Smart LED lighting and strategically placed spotlights highlight activities, while special lighting under walkways and showcases brings the space to life. This combination of functional and atmospheric lighting immerses visitors in the world of technology.

NEMO Technium is the place where technology and experimentation come together. Whether you’re programming a robot, designing a sustainable bike or learning where your nightlight gets its energy from, Technium shows how technology shapes our world. An unforgettable experience for curious doers of all ages!
